Paying for your MBA

Good Afternoon ,

Thinking about how to pay for your MBA and managing your money can be overwhelming. We want to reduce your stress by providing important information so you can create a reasonable spending plan.
 
Tuition and Fees

Tuition and supplementary fees are paid on a per term basis. You are responsible for paying all of your tuition and fees each semester. As a new student, you are considered to be in Level I. If you would like to review a breakdown of our current estimated fees, click here.

 
Some students require financial assistance to help pay for their degree. DeGroote MBA students can access financial assistance in various forms, including:
  • Scholarships (which reward academic achievement)
  • Bursaries (issued to students demonstrating financial need)
  • Loans (provided by financial institutions)
  • Work term salaries (co-op work terms or summer internships for full-time students)
 
A common question we get asked is whether the DeGroote MBA is eligible for OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program) – it is! OSAP is available for Canadian citizens or landed immigrants who are residents of Ontario. You should apply on the program website as soon as the application forms are available in late May.
 
Budgeting

Budgeting appropriately is key. Ask yourself some critical questions before you start the program to understand what your spending and saving needs will be. This spreadsheet provides a helpful breakdown of estimates for typical expenses which gives you a good idea of the costs you may incur each semester.
 
An MBA is an investment – you are investing in yourself and DeGroote is investing in you!
